Product Review: Purex Laundry Sheets
Saturday, March 13, 2010Has anyone out there tried these? They are 3-in-1 laundry sheets... you put one sheet in your clothes with the wash and then transfer it with the clothes to the dryer. Well, I just tried them and have to say I was sorely disappointed. I have a HE Frontloading washer & dryer and I was not impressed. I got a free sample that had two laundry sheets. I just tried my first load with one of these... colored towels. When I transferred the towels to the dryer, they still felt soapy... not nearly as soft as they are with regular detergent. When I pulled them out of the dryer, they were still static-y. About the only thing I liked with these was the smell... they do smell great-- very fresh and clean, like laundry should!
The next thing I'm curious about is a new camera... what kind do you all have? Do you love it? Hate it? I've been looking at the Canon Rebel series as my next camera. However, I just borrowed a friend's this week, and it almost felt like it was "too much" camera for me. I need something that will take great pics of people as well as scenery (like say... pyramids and camels!) and will take good pics in ALL lighting situations. So.... what do you use!?

I just got a sample of this too! I've been excited about it, but now slightly scared.... I'll let you know after I've tried it this week.
ReplyDeleteI got my sample and just tried it. I like the results more...maybe b/c we have different machines? Anyway, looking forward to your next review!
ReplyDeleteI have yet to try those new purex sheets... I guess I'll shy away from them!
ReplyDeleteI have a nikon d200, and it is amazing! I love it, its a digital SLR, so you (can) manually adjust all of the settings + get lenses that go from 10mm all the way to like 600mm. Its my favorite camera ever + its great for novice shooters like me!
I love that new Sony I got. It's the Cybershot 10.1. They are coming out with a 12 Megapixel camera soon and I got the last 10.1 Best Buy had in the KC store. It was $250. You can't change lens and it doesn't have a view finder so taking pics in bright sunlight leave you wonder how your shot came out. But I do love the quality of photos. I asked the guy how many Megapixels a camera needs to be able to print a billboard and he said 20. The 8 meg camera i had would print 11x17 clearly, so this one should do even larger (I have very large scrapbooks! ha.) I use this one at 6 megapixels because it takes up a lot of space otherwise. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your thoughts! I'd love to hear from you!
