A Happier Post, As Promised

I don't even know where to begin, but this will be kinda short, with more to follow in the coming days. To make a really long story short, I'm pregnant! I've known I was pregnant for about 3 weeks now. It has been so hard to keep it a secret! I thought that I was about 8 or 9 weeks along now, but the ultrasound today showed I am just about 6 weeks along. Bummer. But, we saw a flickering heartbeat, so doc says everything is good at this point. Of course, this makes me worry, but I am trying to be grateful for what we have at this moment, and take it one day at a time. As I wrote about yesterday, God is the ultimate giver and taker of life, and I have absolutely no control over anything really. So for today I am giving my worries to him and thanking him incessantly for these moments in our lives.

    Congratulations! That is awesome! I love hearing about the theme you got out of Genesis as you read through your B90X readings and how it talks directly into your current life situation. (Look forward to you trying to tie Leviticus into any life theme for you.) Thanks for the heads up on the B90X readings. It should be an adventure. Again, congrats!

    Wow Shey...I love this...the more I go throughmy posts and facebook status' the more joy I find. How beautiful to know that you have a little lie inside your womb. We found out 4 weeks ago that we are pregnant and I'm still shocked. I feel better now knowing that I am not the only one "worrying" at times since we've longed for this baby for so long BUT like you said..we have no control over it and I just pray whenever I even start to think that smething could happen. God is the one that made it happen and He is the only One who could take it away. Our babies are HIS! Sooooo happy for you guys!!!
